Police are conducting investigations after shots were fired into a house at Ambarvale last night. About 6:15pm, Monday 21 April 2014, a man was sitting in the lounge room of his home on Woodhouse Drive when he heard several loud noises outside. He went to investigate and discovered damage to a bedroom window believed to have been caused by gun shots. No one was injured in the incident. Police were called to the house and established a crime scene which was examined by specialist forensic officers. Detectives from Campbelltown Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are being assisted by officers from Operation Talon. Investigators urge anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Woodhouse Drive and Nurra Reserve to contact police via Crime Stoppers. Operation Talon was formed in August 2013 to combat public place shootings in Sydney.
