Police are investigating a report of extensive property damage at the old Brickworks market construction site in Torrensville. At 10.30pm last night, Police were called to the construction site after security found damage to copper wiring and cabling. Upon inspection, it was found that although a very small value of copper was taken, damage to electrical systems and wiring has been estimated at $330,000. Crime scene investigators will attend the scene this morning to follow positive leads at the crime scene. Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen any suspicious activity around the construction site at 10.30pm last night.
