Police are searching for the thief who stole copper wire from a daycare air conditioning unit. Someone ripped out the copper wiring from an AC unit at the Bethel Early Learning Center along Northwest 20th Street and Second Avenue. The center, which serves 33 kids was forced to close for the day with the air conditioning unit disabled. If you have any information on this thief, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
