Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man from Modbury North following a pursuit which began in Paradise overnight. At about 2.30am, police attempted to pull over a car on Darley Road for traffic offences and when the car failed to stop a pursuit ensued. The pursuit continued for several minutes until police lost sight of the vehicle in back streets. Shortly after, patrols discovered the car parked and abandoned in a driveway in Bright Street, Hectorville. The area was cordoned and police handler and his dog Kraze began the search. It didnt take long for Kraze to locate the suspect hiding in the front yard of a home in North Street, Hectorville. He was arrested and charged with driving in speed and manner dangerous, engage in police pursuit, driving disqualified and driving unregistered. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
