Police have arrested two men aged 21 and 38 for their suspected involvement in a case of robbery with hurt. On 16 November 2014 at about 8.00am, a 48-year-old female victim entered the lift at the ground floor of a block along Crawford Lane and was followed by the two male suspects. While she was exiting the lift, it is believed that one of the suspects had grabbed her by the neck from the rear and punched her face and stomach. The suspects then snatched the victim’s sling bag before fleeing. The woman immediately shouted for help and her neighbours assisted to call for the Police. Responding to the case, officers from the Central Police Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and with the assistance of CCTV footage, established the identities of the suspects. Both suspects were subsequently arrested on 18 November 2014.
