Police have charged a Parafield Gardens man with murder. Just after 4am, police were called to a house in Martins Road at Parafield Gardens after reports a man had died. It is believed the 42-year-old victim from that address had been assaulted. The 48-year-old man has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday. A post mortem examination will determine the cause of death.
