Police have charged a man following a brawl at a licensed premises in Darlinghurst today. About 12.50am (Sunday 25 May 2014), police were called to a licensed premises on Darlinghurst Road, near the intersection of Victoria Street, following reports of a brawl. On arriving, an unconscious man was found on the footpath with a facial wound. The man was assessed on site by Ambulance Paramedics. Officers attached to Kings Cross Local Area Command commenced investigations and following inquiries, they located and arrested a 19-year-old man in Victoria Street. The man was taken to Kings Cross Police Station, where he was charged with affray and granted bail, to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Monday 16 June 2014.
