Police have charged two males after a man was allegedly robbed at West Hoxton yesterday morning. About 1.20am (Friday 5 September 2014), a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy met on Elvira Place in order to trade property. While they were speaking, a 30-year-old man approached them and allegedly grabbed the 19-year-old, before placing a sharp object, believed to be a knife, against his neck. The man allegedly demanded money and property from the 19-year-old, who complied. The 19-year-old man drove away and sought help from road workers on Cowpasture Road. Officers from Green Valley LAC - NSW Police Force were alerted to the incident and a Police Dog traced a scent to a house on Mathinna Circuit. A 30-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were arrested at the home and taken to Green Valley Police Station. Both males were charged in relation to the robbery. The 30-year-old man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday 29 October 2014. The 16-year-old boy was granted conditional bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Monday 22 September 2014.
