Police have retrieved the body of a man who fell from a cliff yesterday afternoon at Upalinna about 40km north of Hawker. It is believed the 36-year-old man from Victoria, slipped on loose rocks and fell about 50 metres onto a ledge. The retrieval operation commenced at 8am and it took police about an hour and a half to reach the mans body and almost seven hours to retrieve him. Police will now prepare a report for the State Coroner.
