Police investigate incident after man suffers serious injuries - Telopea Police are investigating an incident that has left a man in a serious condition in hospital. About 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 June 2013), a man allegedly attended a property on Sturt Street, Telopea, and tried to gain access to a house. Police have been told that the man was confronted by the residents of the house and an argument ensued, resulting in a physical fight. Police were called to the location a short time later. Upon arrival, police located a 53-year-old man suffering serious facial and internal injuries. He was treated by Ambulance Paramedics at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a serious, but stable condition. Two men, aged 43 and 22, are now assisting police with their inquiries into the incident at Parramatta Police Station. Officers continue with their investigations and are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
