Police investigating a minor road traffic collision involving a cyclist are urging the driver of a red car to come forward. The incident happened at the junction of Scalby Road and Woodlands Drive, near to Scarborough Hospital, at about 8.20am on Wednesday 18 June 2014. The red car was heading in the direction of Falsgrave and was in the third lane turning right. The cyclist, a 32-year-old local woman, was crossing the road between stationary traffic when the collision occurred. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by the driver of the red car but they did not exchange details.
