Police seek two men in strong-arm robbery at Lees Richmond Police are seeking two male suspects involved in a strong-arm robbery at about 10:20 p.m. Friday at Lees Famous Recipe restaurant at East Main and 18th streets. The two men accosted a restaurant employee in the east parking lot and fled to the east or southeast with an undetermined amount of money in a bag, according to RPD Sgt. Sean OBrien. No weapon was displayed, he said. Initial reports described one subject as a black male, about 6 foot, 3 inches tall and weighing 300 to 350 pounds wearing all black clothing. He also had a mustache. The second subject was described as a white male, about 5 foot, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a maroon sweatshirt with lettering on the front. Both men were described as being in their early 30s. Police searched a parking lot east of the restaurant, which closed at 10 p.m., and nearby alleys for evidence, and the investigation continues.
