Police should arrest Pastor UMAR Mulinde for spreading religious hatred Friends, Muslims in Uganda are seriously killing each other! I told you that Islamic extremism must be addressed for the good of all of us. They began with plans to target non-muslims but when they someway fails, they turn on each other as you may hear all that is happening in Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt, Afghanistan, Yemen, Libya, Tunisia, Somalia, etc. In Uganda, they did not only pour Acid on my face, but of recent, they have killed a significant number of their leaders including:- Sheikh Abdu Karim Ssentamu was shot dead at Ben Kiwanuka and William Street junction. Hajji Abasi Abubaker Kiweewa. Younus Abubaker Madungo shot dead in Bugiri District. Sheikh Abdul Khadir Muwaya killed in Mayuge District. Sheikh Bahiga was the fifth Muslim cleric to be shot in a space of one year and the second in a week after Mayuge Sheikh Daktoor Muwaya! Ugandan Police yesterday morning closed down the Masjid Noor Mosque along William Street in Kampala City over ‘terrorist links’. The closure of the mosque also comes just a day after the family of slain Sheikh Bahiga accused the Kampala leader of the Tabligh Muslim sect (Amiir) of organizing his assassination. We must remember some days when Muslim youths including Sheikh Jamil Mukulu hijacked & took over a mosque until they were violently thrown out of the mosque by police. The battle to take over the mosque led to 100 injured people and the death of a police officer and two police dogs. Later, Jamil Mukulu founded the ADF (Allied Democratic Front) fighting to forcefully turn Uganda into Islamic State governed by Islamic Shariah Law as it was with the Taliban government of Afghanistan or the Al-shabab of Somalia. While addressing the press, The Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura, linked the killing of the Muslim leaders to revenge from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF). “We have credible intelligence which indicates that the majority of these Muslim clerics have been targeted because of their refusal to embrace extremist ideology; one which promotes use of violence and terrorism as a tool of social, religious and political change,” Ugandan Police Chief, Gen Kayihura was yesterday quoted by the press. ----Pastor UMAR Mulinde
