Police strikes terror in Muslim dominated Mumbai Subarb, Rights bodies approached by activists ! A public outcry but silence by the national media, except for a couple of exceptions followed a midnight swoop reminiscent of 1992-93 Mumbai, over 200 policemen broke into the residences of Muslims in Rashid Compound and dragged out at least 80 men, according to eyewitnesses. They were not allowed to get out of their night clothes, and were bundled into vans, and driven to the police.
