Police urge motorists to slow down as thousands caught speeding during Operation Stay Alert: New South Wales Police are disappointed drivers are continuing to disobey the road rules after almost 1000 motorists were caught speeding yesterday. Operation Stay Alert, the police traffic operation, began at 12.01am Friday 6 June 2014, and runs until 11.59pm today (Monday 9 June 2014).
