Political Question: Is immigration in this country and the views against it based primarily upon the possibility that we MAY have to support these new families once they arrive here? Because, and correct me if Im wrong, unless youre Cherokee, Algonquin, or one of the native people that have reservations in this country, than you too are an immigrant. I am. Maybe not first generation - but that shouldnt matter. Doesnt more people mean more jobs and more money pumping into economy? I must be missing something here, for others to resist so incessantly when they themselves were once the people they are discriminating against... Legitimate question, Im very curious.
