Political scenery in Karbi Anglong is changing. With drastic vote share going to BJP, the emergence of new political outfit is seen. Though Congress won, its an alarming indication of its ouster if policies and strategies are not changed. This Lok Sabha election clearly brings a nightmare for the Congress as they lost from 2 LACs to BJP. The BJP shall be very excited with the present trend as the Assam Assembly Elections is approaching which also sees of capturing the Assembly by the BJP. This election also sees for a big downfall for HSDP, the former ASDC. Thus, the Golden era of the ASDC is falling flat like their counterpart CPI ML who are wiped off. People who seeked change opted for BJP rather than HSDP, the party which was placed in third place this time. Will BJP gain confidence of the people?
