Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a missing person’s case. 23-year-old Samantha Blackner, DOB 06/17/1989, was last seen on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at her Talon Crest Drive residence, located in the Highland City area of Lakeland. Blackner has a medical disorder and may not be in possession of her medication. Blackner, who left her residence without her identification or other personal property was last seen wearing blue jeans and unknown top; she has blue eyes and short auburn/red hair. She is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs approximately 105 pounds. Blackner wears a hoodie style sweatshirt year round and commonly travels via public transportation.
