Polling Results on Georgia U.S. Senate Republican Primary Gingrey 17%, Broun 15%, Handel 14% Kingston 7% (Atlanta) – The most recent Landmark/RosettaStone Survey conducted for Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta reveals a drop in support for Congressman Phil Gingrey and little movement from the other candidates. Karen Handel leads among voters who live in metro Atlanta, while Paul Broun leads among voters outside of metro Atlanta. The survey included recently announced candidate Derrick Grayson, as well as, unannounced likely candidates David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. John Garst, President of Rosetta Stone Communications said, “Almost 52% of the female vote is undecided and only 37% of the male vote is undecided. This means the female vote in this primary is currently up for grabs and will ultimately shape who the top contenders are next summer.” The survey of 450 likely Republican voters was conducted on Monday, June 17 and has a margin of error of 4.6% Mark Rountree, President of Landmark Communications said, "The tricky part for Paul Broun is that the only demographic group he leads are the youngest voters -- a group which are notoriously the least likely to vote. The tricky part for Phil Gingrey is that after an initial burst of support, his numbers are no longer as strong. The tricky part for Karen Handel is that she has essentially the same level of support she did prior to announcing and has gotten no significant bump from her announcement. The tricky part for Jack Kingston is that he is now running consistently in fourth place.” ###
