Polymyositis: Alternative Healthier Treatments My facebook page that I started a year or so ago. Five years ago I was seeking and praying for the right treatment for Polymyositis and found the most wonderful forum on the internet....roadback.org I joined (read all of the education links I could) and was given the name of a doctor that started me on a healing journey. Ive learned so much and have met PM patients from all over the world. Last night I met a lady from Singapore that has exactly the same symptoms as I do. What a blessing. So Im being led to share this information with others that are seeking as I did. There are alternative treatments available that our doctors are not trained to know about in medical school. One of the doctors that Ive met said that natural doctors spend about two years in college learning about nutrition and how it can heal the body and a medical doctor may spend a weekend studying nutrition. Most medical doctors have never heard of the great works of the late Dr. Thomas M. Brown and his discovery of how Low Dose Antibiotic Therapy (Tetracyclines) could help thousands of patients that had arthritis-based autoimmune diseases or inflammation problems. I just thank God every day for Dr. Brown and other doctors that believe in alternative medicine today.
