Poodle Rescue steps up to help out Corridor Rescue once again. This is Marley. Marley came to us from Corridor Rescue, their director contacted Guinnette to help out this poor male puppy they found this week One of their volunteers found Marley while doing their normal feeding route on the Corridor of Cruelty here in Houston. This is a known dumping ground here in Houston. The wonderful volunteers of the Corridor Rescue go out and feed these scared starving dogs. This is also where Puddin was found. After he was groomed it was discovered that he had multiple puncture and stab wounds. Several of them are infected. He is currently on strong antibiotics to see if they will kill the infection, if not they will need to be drained and if that doesnt work hes going to need surgery. He also had intestinal worms and parasites and was dewormed. At some point he will be neutered and micro-chipped. He will be monitored for the next several days to make sure the antibiotics are doing their work. Corridor Rescue took him and got him groomed and vetted but found that he was hurt and needed long term care so they have asked Poodle Rescue to take him into our program and Guinnette agreed.
