Poor Big Boy is recovering from a rather invasive surgery yesterday to remove a mass. The large mass had grown rapidly and was attached to the muscles in the back of his leg as well as the sciatic nerve. To add to that, poor Big Boy also had a difficult tooth extracted too. Poor guy is feeling it from both ends but he sure is a trooper and is wagging his tail like nothing happened. Big boy is one tough cookie! With 30 senior dogs in our care our medical bills are honestly astronomical. Were quite ok with that as we have so many generous individuals helping us every step of the way. This is what community is all about, helping each other when the need arises. Were so grateful for everyones support and so is Big Boy!
