Poor Jess has not had the best night. They did get his oxygen down to 2 liters and he is staying at 100 for now. However they never found a sitter last night and the charge nurse on the floor refused to let him come to the floor without one, even though my mom or I stay with him 24/7. Hes been in the ER since yesterday afternoon and because there so packed his care isnt great because there not ment to care for a kid that long. They still dont know if they have a sitter so he will have to continue to stay in the ER. Meenwhile Jess also has bradycardia when he is asleep and his heart rate will run in the low 50s. But he is wide awake and only running 45 with an abnormal rythiam and the drs arent worried about it since hes alert! Which is insane in itself! He most likely is running low because of the infections, jess tends to do the oppisite when hes sick. We love Hopkins, but gotta say this is probably the worst care he has gotten befor. Please pray they can find a sitter for him soon because he hasnt slept and is very uncomfortable being on a gurney all day and night and not feeling well and needs a room on the floor. And please pray for his infections to start to clear up. Thank you, Leah-
