Poor Leelou had a rough start to the new year. She was playing on the floor and kept trying to go see Gracie who would growl at her, so we kept her away but she snuck past us and Gracie snapped on leelous neck and shook her. Screaming ensued, I had to crawl behind a chair to get poor Leelou who was bleeding. Gracie got in big trouble and is no longer allowed near the babies at all and got her bed privileges taken away. Leelou was washed up, bag balm on the cuts which arent so bad thank god and then wrapped up in heated blankets and snuggled. She bounced back quickly but even Katya was crying because of the scare and confusion. Poor girls. Leelou even got warm milk before bed and seemed quite pleased with being spoiled...kids. Gave me a heart attack and probably took years off my life but the babies just bounce right back.
