Poor Lou Lu needs a home asap! Or at least a foster home. She has only a few days... can anyone help so we can take her in as a Milo dog? Sadly the pups got priority care and placement, and mom was left behind... Ive heard great things about you from various dog people throughout the East Bay! Im writing because my living situation is changing and the dog weve been fostering needs a new home or placement, and we hope you can help! We found Lou Lu and two 7 month old pups in our neighborhood at the end of June. The youngsters have been adopted through Rocket Dog Rescue, and we are still searching for a great forever home for Lou Lu. Lou Lu is quite silly, lovable, and mellow. She and our small dog, Charlie (15 lbs), get along great, and are currently playing as I write this! They share high value items quite well (antlers & bones), eat, drink, sleep, and play together daily. We think shes an American Staffordshire Terrier, probably between 5 and 7 years old, and weighs 75 pounds. Lou Lu is happy to meet new people and go to new places. My husband and I are moving and cannot take her with us (breed and weight restrictions) and want to find her a great place to be very soon. To cut the story short, we need to be out of our current apartment by January 4th-- this Sunday. Our housemates cant take care of her as their female rott truly dislikes Lou Lu and has attacked her when they take care of them together (though thats another story all together). Weve tried our hand with Rocket Dog Rescue, but it seems that their sanctuary is full. Any chance you can help us out? We love her muchly and believe that she will make another family very happy!
