Poor Natashas home fell through :( Heres the email I got late last night. Please note she was severely matted and flea infested. She needed to start HW treatment too. Tina, We admire the dedication and compassion you show in choosing to protect a lot of wonderful dogs. However we have been struggling with what they have done in Texas. We can not believe what they have done to Natasha, you do not shave a Northern Breed such as Malamutes And Huskies. I wish they had sent her here matted. She risks alopecia, skin cancer, as they grow older there is less chance the guard hair will even grow back at all. It will take a year for what ever is going to grow back, to grow back. Im not at all certain that she should even be in the north this winter. When in the sun she will need to be protected from sunburn. They really screwed up! and we are broken hearted. ** So foster or adopter is needed as she will be traveling shortly to us. Please share.
