Poor Pipin..... he was such a good boy, but he didnt get a family to call his own for Christmas! This big bouncy boy recently joined the TDRI family after his owner passed away and nobody from the family stepped forward to take him. Pipin ended up in a high kill shelter where his only saving grace was that hes a big sweetheart, but having been there for almost a month, his time was running out. Because of his size and exuberance Pipin needed a savvy family to take him in. Now that this boy has had a chance to let off some steam (22 days in a run is a long time for a big, young, active boy), Pipin is doing really well in foster care. He is learning appropriate play with other dogs, is learning leash skills, but most of all, he LOVES being part of a family. Pipin would be fine in a home with children 10+ but might knock little ones down (he doesnt know his size). His new family will be required to attend mandatory training classes to help him further his skill set, but this boy really is a gem!
