Poor Spinner! He didnt get to go to agility tonight. And he wanted to go in the very worst way. Tom let him into the garage while I was fixing the seatbelt in the back and he came up under me and got the back of his head in my adams apple. Thought he was going to choke me. He was beyond excited for his turn at agility. We got the car out in front of the house and the flat tire warning light came on. So I stopped and got out and looked. Sure enough, the right front tire was low. Now you must understand that on Wednesday I had a medical appointment and the light came on just as I got there. So after it was over, I went to my friendly Discount Tire. My home away from home. Some jerk came out and immediately started in on the one tire that needed replacement. I dont tolerate that kind of attitude well at all, so I quickly shed him and went through the line to have the tires checked and aired. This guy who was much more sane, said that it two were just barely low enough to make the lights come on. I then spoke to another more sane salesperson and did get the needed tire. Problem resolved. Right? Wrong. Obviously wrong this evening. Since I had not been happy on Wednesday, after I got in the house, I called Discount at 6:05. I politely but strongly expressed my disatisfaction with them. Especially since I was missing agility class! They close at 6. I happened to get the manager and he said that if I was there at 7:30 am in the morning, he would see that my tire was repaired by 8. I said fine. Shortly my cell phone rang with the same manager. He was most apologetic. I am certain he looked at our record and saw that we are buying all of our tires from Discount and because of where we live, we use lots more tires than most people do. He said that he would stay if I would come right then and they would repair the flat. Tom put air in the tire and away we went. We only lost one pound of air for those 15-20 miles in there. So I strongly suspect that this tire had the hole in it on Wednesday but the hole was on the inside edge, and they couldnt see it. When he took the tire off, he found that this would be the third patch, and it was really in a spot where it couldnt be patched. So now I have four new tires within the last two months thanks to Discount, and I got three of them for $22.00 each because I ALWAYS get the warranty on them. So the manager of Discount Tire on Grand north of Bell in Surprise rocks!. Tom went with me and told me I could tell them I brought my Marine sniper with me in case of trouble.
