Poor cartoonists, look at the tools at their disposal! Pencils, pens and palettes, but their works at best capture the imagination of millions of readers. Or tickle a funny bone. Many a debate has been ignited by the creativity with which these talented opinion - makers depict the harsh realities of human existence. Volumes have been written by skilled analysts from the calculated strokes of art known as cartoons and caricatures. At times even Parliaments could deliberate on the contribution of this discipline to society, pitting opinion parties against ruling parties, or throwing sworn foes at each others bossoms. It has been this way all along, one of those things in what we call the civilised world. The pen considered mightier than the sword.
