Poor old bear (impound number 1803) has been surrendered by his owners to the pound. I guess you could say that this photo should come with a health warning, but this looks to me like a pictorial illustration of the reality of what happens when a cat with white skin, and presumably once a pink nose, is permitted to sunbake. Nothing good, it seems. My own view is that his owner should have taken a different route to surrendering this cat to the pound - surrendering in this condition seems grossly unfair. We seldom post photos like this because we seldom see cats in this condition in the pound, but it may be better in this instance to let him rest in peace. We were asked to photograph him, and so we have, and we hope we have not upset too many people by posting him as he absolutely deserves.
