Poppa Terry’s Words of Wisdom #175 “Random Thoughts about Fred Phelps and Tattoos” 1) So, yesterday was the first day of Spring…and the forecast for this weekend is SNOW…ugh 2) Fox News Poll: Tattoos aren’t just for rebels anymore 3) Well…it still takes someone a little ornery to get one, doesn’t it?? 4) Four Mizzou athletes arrested on pot suspicion – they been asked to transfer to University of Colorado 5) Shots were fired on the FREE Kansas City Zoo day… what a special stupid… 6) NCAA tourney time – Nothing ever gets done at work and all computer systems shut down, due to the live streaming. 7) I lost the Billion Dollars after the first game……. 8) Mike Bentz has a Malaysian Plane for sale – he admits that the On-Star is broken…. 9) Tattoos are like Lays Potato Chips, you can’t just get one…. 10) Crimea – you mean to tell me that 85% of the people there REALLY want to be a part of Russia? 11) Maybe the armed guards at the Crimean voting booths assisted with their choice?? 12) Chris Martin of Cold Play is going to Mentor on the Voice - Is it just me, why do I always get sad when I hear one of their songs? 13) This week a “life sized pistol gun tattoo” in Maine prompted heavy police response – 14) Note to self – don’t tattoo a life sized gun on my gut… 15) Given that John Kerry feels that Global Warming is the US’s greatest adversary, the sanctions on Russia for their invasion into Crimea will be no more incandescent light bulbs shipped to them – that will really show’em we’re tough. 16) Tattoos don’t have spelchek…. 17) Well, Fred Phelps, the disbarred lawyer and bizarre “minister” of Westboro Baptist Church is dead. 18) One of their first pickets was the Catholic Church we attended when we lived in Topeka. I figured we were doing something right, if they chose us first…. 19) And, for a time I was the recipient of their sick and indescribable faxes. 20) Unfortunately, he got just what he wanted…to be famous….sad and awful way to do it…. 21) If I was the Topeka funeral director, I would tattoo, “God Loves All People” on Fred’s arm…maybe a unicorn with rainbows, too….lol 22) I have two Pet Peeves – game requests and hateful, negative people….RIP Fred… 23) Poll…what should my next tattoo be?? 24) I wonder if anyone else besides me bought both Alabama and Wide Spread Panic tickets on the same day??
