Pops is in need of some love.. He woke up last week with no ability to walk.. It hasn;t gotten any better and now they are saying he has fluid in his lungs and congestive heart failure.. Hes a tough guy.. raising 4 adopted kids.. taking us to the Philippines with my mom.. Funny his nurses are all Filipinos and he thinks hes back there.. With all of this.. trying to find help and working with my Mom who is a real trooper, I had to give up my Thursday night with Chuy Viramontes at the lodge. dad seems peaceful and I dont think he is as stressed out. Much love to the nurses of Kaiser who treat him like a guest in their home. Love to my Mom and Dad.. and my two Lisas who have made this time a little easier by helping with the mundane and repetitive aspects of this transition. God is watching you Dad.. and if hes half as proud as I am.. you will be welcome at his side when and if your time comes. Hopefully not to soon. Thank you all for listening.. Prayers?
