Poroshenko forced to the negotiating table? Already been on - TopicsExpress

Poroshenko forced to the negotiating table? Already been on Irish radio talking about this: Im afraid that it looks like Kyiv has basically surrendered, under the tremendous military pressure of Russia. The fact that the ceasefire agreement was reached between Poroshenko and Putin indicates what we all suspected - Russia has been behind the rebellion in eastern Ukraine all along, and the Kremlin pulls all the strings. Speculating about the terms: Ukraine will have to grant autonomy to the Donbas, Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. The alternative would have been a full invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and their setting up their Novorossiya state on Ukrainian soil, perhaps including a land bridge to Crimea. How are the Ukrainian public going to take this? After so many deaths, so much turmoil?
