Poroshenko: landmark EU deal to be signed 16 September to be implemented without delay #Ukrainian President Petro #Poroshenko has stressed that the association agreement between #Ukraine and the EU will be implemented from the very first moment after its ratification and that it is a de-facto programme of reforms for the nation. According to the presidential press service, the president noted at a meeting with the heads of the parliamentary factions and groups that the association agreement would be ratified in full. No single period, no single comma, no single word has changed compared with the agreed and initialled agreement that I signed on 27 June. And the implementation of the agreement begins from the very first moment, Poroshenko said. The president noted that the procedure of the ratification would start simultaneously - as planned, at 13:00 Kyiv time on 16 September in the Ukrainian Parliament and at 11:00 European time. The European Parliament has prepared the ratification under an abridged procedure.
