Port Augusta has been playing host to quite a few visitors this week. The OIDFA 16th World Lace Congress has been held in Adelaide this week & in their programme they included a couple of nights in our beautiful town. Over 2 days we had two OIDFA groups of approx. 30 people each from all over the world visit our garden for lunch & a guided tour (Ireland, Malta, England, Canada, Finland, NZ, USA to name a few of the nationalities represented). Also, the Golf SA Womens 70th Country Week Northern (Bronze Shield) has also been held in town this week. We got to share our beautiful garden & café with golfers from a variety of clubs around SA such as Westward ho, Tea Tree Gully & Naracoorte Golf Clubs, to name a few. We love meeting our visitors & ensuring they enjoy the Arid Lands (& Port Augusta) as much as we do.
