Portugal is the latest jurisdiction in which traffic laws require the driver of a motor vehicle to maintain a lateral distance of at least 1.5 meters between their vehicle and cycles so as to improve safety for all. Well done to MUBi, our campaigning colleagues in Portugal, for their sterling advocacy work on this issue!
