***Position Available*** Accounting Associate The Finance Department is seeking an Accounting Associate to join their friendly fiscal team. This individual would be responsible for assisting the Fiscal Director with all accounting/purchasing functions. The ideal candidate is an organized, enthusiastic individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of financial policies, procedures, and practices as related to Medicaid, OPWDD, and other governmental regulatory agencies. This candidate is able to analyze, interpret, and present financial/statistical data to both internal and external contacts in a clear, concise manner. Candidates should have an Associate’s degree in Accounting with a business concentration and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, and Powerpoint) is required. Experience with accounting software (Fund EZ) is preferred.
