Position: Marketing Assistant Hours of Work: Flexible, between 9am and 5.30pm Job Status: 2 – 3 days per week Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire Salary: Competitive hourly rate Due to the continued success and growth at the SEC Group (The Storage Equipment Centre Ltd) we are looking to expand our Lead Generation & Marketing team. A position has arisen for a part time Marketing Assistant with the potential for this to extend to a full time role. We are a fast growing, focused company and one of the UK’s leading independent supplier of warehouse storage systems and commercial interior fit out solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who is currently undertaking either a marketing, joint marketing/business or marketing/media degree. Your skills and experience will have been obtained through work placements or university studies. Full guidance and on-the-job training will be provided, however, you should be keen to implement what you have learnt into a real business environment and have a flare for spotting marketing opportunities. Roles and responsibilities could include: · Regular updating of the company website including news, case studies and general content · Assistance in the creation and design of email marketing campaigns · Creation of case studies including liaising with our sales team, contracts team and the client to coordinate all aspects from initial copy writing to photography · Press release writing and submission to the trade publications · Online content marketing including the writing of blog posts & guides, which will include in depth research. Key skills and experience: · An acute attention to detail for branding and corporate literature, including integrated marketing communications & public relations · Awareness of email marketing campaigns / direct marketing · Experience in desktop publishing, especially Microsoft Publisher / InDesign · Basic understanding of HTML / website Content Management Systems · Basic understanding of Photoshop / image editing · The role will be extremely varied therefore you will require strong organisational skills.
