Position opening: Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) Clinical Faculty Position for a Rehabilitation Psychologist at Ohio State University The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ohio State University is seeking to hire a Rehabilitation Psychologist at the Clinical Assistant Professor level. The position will include serving inpatient rehabilitation teams, as well as assessment and treatment of outpatients. The Division of Rehabilitation Psychology includes 8 faculty members who provide services to specialized programs in stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, general rehabilitation, chronic pain, cancer, burn and neuromodulation. The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is one of the nation’s fastest growing academic medical centers. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation actively participates in the medical center’s Neurological Institute which will be opening a new Brain & Spin Hospital in 2016. The department is a close collaborator in the Center for Neuromodulation lead by the Division of Functional Neurosurgery. Qualifications of a successful applicant will include postdoctoral training or comparable experience in Rehabilitation Psychology and license eligibility for the practice of psychology in Ohio. If not Board Certified, the successful applicant will be expected to obtain certification. Faculty participates in training of Post-doctoral Fellows in the Division of Rehabilitation Psychology, as well as Residents in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. There are multiple opportunities for research collaboration although involvement in research is not required. Salary is competitive.
