Position vacant ...FOUR very different options 1. Is 4-5 odd hours a day feeding up horses and cleaning stables, suit a local person, with the opportunity to earn more money if they can ride as well. 2. Is a live in keeper that feeds the horses/cleans stables/ gardening for free rent and electricity in our self contained unit that is attached to the indoor arena. 3. Is someone who can ride/train, that lives in the unit, feeds/cleans stables/rugs etc rides 3-4 horses a day, gets free rent/electricity and a wage, has most of the afternoon to themselves and does afternoon feed up. 4. Is someone who can ride, that lives in the unit, that WANTS to generate their own income by bringing in their own clients along with riding/training my (GREEN) personal horses, willing to do morning and afternoon feed ups, and general work that needs to be done while working on a stud. Free rent plus wage by negotiation. Daily routine at the stud ... Morning duties are start feed up at 7.30 feeding up to 20 horses off the 4x4, cleaning up to 8 stables, chafing ( takes about 10min) and some rugging and un rugging, this takes around 2 hours, then again around 4.30-5pm in the afternoon. these work hours are flexible, happy to start earlier or feed up later. Id prefer someone who can ride but if an elderly couple show up looking to move in that are trust worthy with horse/farm experience willing to do the job, and some gardening/weeding/slashing then that will also work. Dont apply if you just want a job for a few weeks, Im after someone who actually wants to be around horses and looking for long term work/accommodation. Im after someone who wants to work with me, to keep achieving a high standard in the show ring, so leaving horses with no water, dirty water or being heavy handed un-necessarily because your having a bad day is NOT acceptable. Must have a car or a least a licence, prefer non smoker but its not a deal breaker. If someone fills option 3 or 4 then the position may include traveling to National Shows. we are 15 min to South West Rocks beach, 1 hour either way to Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie.
