Positions Available Country Cup - 12th – 15th January 2014 Albury, NSW Tasmania Under 14 Girls (x 2 teams) Tasmania Under 14 Boys (x 2 teams) Tasmania u16 Girls (x 2 teams) Tasmania u16 Boys (x 2 teams) Tasmania u18 Boys Tasmania u18 Girls A Head Coach and a Team manager will be appointed to each Country Cup team. Any Coaches considering applying for the Under 14 Regional Coaches positions if available would be encouraged to attend Albury as a development coaching position as this is the new target area for Basketball Australia. It is desirable but not mandatory that successfully appointed Assistant Coaches are available as preparation to Head Coach at Basketball Tasmania’s County Cup participation in Albury -January 2013. Please also state on application if you would consider a Country Cup position if unsuccessful in applying for a state position. All applicants must include in their application: Details of relevant experience, including current appointments Indication of preferences where application is for more than one team Any other relevant qualifications (e.g. coaching accreditation, tertiary qualifications, first aid etc) Head Coach applications must include: Proposed training schedule (NOT REQUIRED) Proposed scouting formats (NOT REQUIRED) Comments on overall strengths/weaknesses of relevant age group(s) Proposed offensive and defensive structures for the team All persons wishing to apply should email their applications to the Basketball Tasmania General Manager Chris McCoy at [email protected].
