Positive reinforcement techniques will be used to teach basic commands and household manners. Among other things, you will learn how to socialize your dog properly, house training, to sit and down on command, come when called, loose leash walking, basic grooming, stay and wait, leave it, get back from the doorway, etc. We will also address any issues or questions that arise in class. A confidence booster for you and your dog, this class is designed for all dogs over the age of 12 weeks. On class nights, please bring proof of vaccinations, a hungry dog with his/her favorite food and/or treats, on a 6 foot leash (no retractable leashes please) with a buckle collar, bags for any messes, good shoes, and most importantly, a sense of humor! Non-aggressive dogs only for this class please.
