Possible KathNiel fanfic: "A cage.." There’s a line in a very old Harry/Ginny fanfic that seems to be very appropriate for Joaquin’s character so far. In the dialogue, Harry asked Ginny what she was most afraid of, to which she said, "… a cage…" In my head now, and this is fandom crossing over, I wanna write a snippet where Chichay and Joaquin would have the same conversation. That fanfic hit home because Harry realized how crippling the effects of being taken to the Chamber of Secrets was for Ginny, in that everyone around her was waiting for her to explode, like a bomb. And so, Ginny for a time felt like she was in a cage. That’s more or less how Joaquin might be feeling: he’s in an invisible cage, with everyone watching his every move. I wish Chichay and Joaquin would be given a similar scene where he would be able to relate to her how crippling his life has been since he took a bullet in his head.
