Possible autism? A mom shares: Hi my name is stephanie I was hoping maybe your page could post this because I could use some advise right now and Im finding myself in a situation where Im not quite sure what to do..... as of yet none of my kids have recieved a diagnosis, however I do believe my four year old son may fall somewhere on the specteum..... he likes to arrange his toys in lines and patterns as play, when he gets around loud noises he will wrap his arms around his head and wimper, and he has bgun to have emotional outbursts, and communication skills just arent on age level....... I can feel that there us something different about my child and want to help him but my family and friends are telling me they think there is nothing to worry about and acting as though Im just talking crap about him..... idk how to handle this situation because I dont want unfairly judge my son as my kids are my world however I am genuinely concerned. .... should I have him evaluated against our whole familys wishes and if so is it better to go through the schools or the doctors?
