Post from Needa Bee White united states capitalist culture: Pull up your own boot straps, compete compete compete, find something that makes you stand out and be different and seperate, no such thing as we, its all about me VS. the other, move out when youre 18, if you get money and your family doesnt thats not your problem, let the system raise your children, dont let your parents be a burden to you, DO YOU, to be independent and alone means you have succeeded and are grown, your ancestral ways are backwards, individualization!! Non white pre colonial culture: work as a team to rise together, coexist/share/ interdependence, celebrate that which binds you together, no such thing as I, its all about us, live with many generations of your family til death, come togehter as family to prosper, my familys problems are mine, raise your own children with the help of your village, take care of your parents when they are old by living with them, DO US, being surrounded with many generations, interdependence on each other is a sign if success, your ancestral ways are what will provide you with longevity, sustainability, wealth and success, eldership!!!
