Post from member: I got my TBI on June 11th,2005,so i would say im a veteran at it.Ive learned to live with the changes in myself since my TBI..My main issue being memory,short term memory mostly.For the most part i healed pretty well,considering i had 8 fractures to my head,3 to my back,& 2 to my neck,,,it goes on...I drive a car,ride a motorcycle(after being t-boned on one),and i work my same old job.........Im posting this,to help newcomers to Brain Injury better understand it,& somewhat work around the changes.Ive done pretty well,i hope i can help others push forward like i did.
