Post from today: Thank you again for all of the prayers and support. You have no idea how much the words of encouragement have helped me through the last few days. My first day was filled with shock and trying to absorb what was my new reality. The second day was for information gathering and setting appointments with several surgeons. I am planning to get at least 3 opinions before I proceed. My first appointment is Friday morning. My sister will be able to attend that one with me. Definitely keep the prayers coming for wisdom over the next few days.
