Post of JRF at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, NOIDA Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow for the following time-bound DST sponsored project as per the details given below: Project Title: Studies on the Phylo-genomics and Population Genomics of Indian Drosophila Project PI: Dr. Sujata Mohanty, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, JIIT, Sector,62, NOIDA Post: JRF (one) Duration: The project is valid for a period of Three years. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended solely depending on the performance. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview. Emoluments: 18,000/- fixed per month (consolidated) Essential Qualifications: Master Degree in Biotechnology /Life Sciences / Molecular Biology /Bioinformatics/Genomics. Preference will be given to CSIR / UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates. However, Non- NET qualified candidates can also apply. Job Description: The project involves DNA markers development, sequence generation and SNPs analysis using both bioinformatics and molecular biology techniques.
