Post-surgery musings... I have a cankle. Its a natural byproduct of the process in that a goodly-sized part of the venous plumbing in my left leg was removed and relocated to my heart. Thus, my system cant quite handle the fluid load so it settled into my lower leg. Some of my toes resemble sausages too. Compression stockings help, somewhat, but those are a bear to get on! Good thing Im not headed to the beach...
