#Post_SabaSaba What did we want Raila Odinga to say and do? My thesis: power respects power. This government has the military. Raila has the people. Those are two powers. Peoples power has always had its way. Raila should have looked at us straight, outline the myriad problems that are hurting us such as insecurity, joblessness, corruption, ethnicity in govt jobs etc, to which we would have responded to ndio baba. Then he should moved on to invoke our right to self determination and proceed to declare that as our leader he has reached conclusion he has to form a PARALLEL government. This would have made our day! I know the soldiers would have killed us. The soldiers would have been told to kill us. But that would have send a clear message, dead or alive, that power belongs to the people. People want business unusual.
